The Journal of Biochemistry founded in 1922 publishes the results of original research in the fields of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell, and Biotechnology written in English in the form of Regular Papers or Rapid Communications. A Rapid Communication is not a preliminary note, but it is, though brief, a complete and final publication. The materials described in Rapid Communications should not be included in a later paper. The Journal also publishes short reviews (JB Review) and papers solicited by the Editorial Board.
1922年创办的《生物化学杂志》以常规论文或快速通讯的形式发表了在生物化学、分子生物学、细胞和生物技术领域的原创研究成果。迅速的交流不是初步的说明，但它虽然简短，却是一份完整和最后的出版物。《快速通讯》中所述材料不应列入以后的文件。该杂志还出版短篇评论(JB Review)和编辑部征求的论文。
